Description

  • Own full-cycle accounting for assigned real estate assets, initially covering approximately four properties.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledgers.
  • Complete month-end and year-end close processes for each property.
  • Produce timely financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and property-level accounts on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in Yardi Breeze.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple properties and entities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
  • Support accounting processes as additional assets are acquired and the portfolio grows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in real estate accounting or property accounting.
  • Proven experience managing accounting for multiple properties or assets.
  • Strong hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience using Yardi Breeze or a similar property management accounting system.
  • Highly independent self-starter who can own work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
