Description

  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to verify software quality.
  • Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on technical specifications.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend corrective solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews to help ensure quality standards are met.
  • Document testing processes and results for compliance and future reference.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Assist in developing quality assurance metrics and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar software quality assurance role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
  • Certification in software testing such as ISTQB or CSTE is preferred.
  • Experience with mobile testing and responsive design is preferred.
  • Understanding of web services testing, including API testing, is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
