Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines aligned with the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design.
  • Automate secure environment deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Integrate security testing and scanning tools, including SAST, DAST, and container scanning, into delivery pipelines.
  • Implement and manage DoD STIGs, DISA baselines, and RMF controls within infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Develop scripts and automation for compliance validation using tools such as OpenSCAP, Chef InSpec, and PowerSTIG.
  • Help develop and maintain technical documentation for RMF authorization and continuous monitoring processes.
  • Implement and manage DevSecOps toolchains such as GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Harbor, Nexus, SonarQube, and Anchore.
  • Automate container security and Kubernetes-based deployments, including Big Bang and Iron Bank image workflows.
  • Manage secrets, credential rotation, and logging using Vault, DoD-approved KMS, or AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Collaborate with security, development, and operations stakeholders to support ATO package development and compliance alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on DevSecOps experience in AI/ML or data-intensive systems.
  • Experience with DoD DevSecOps Reference Architecture and secure CI/CD implementation.
  • Experience with Defense cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, DoD Cloud, or air-gapped environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience managing and driving successful ATO processes.
  • Strong understanding of federal security compliance standards, including DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP.
  • Familiarity with OpenShift or Kubernetes security hardening and Zero Trust Architecture concepts.
  • Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one; preferred US Gov Secret or above clearance.
  • Experience supporting government contracting or federal agencies is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified Security or DevOps Engineer, or HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate are preferred.
