Description

  • Collect and verify timesheets, overtime logs, and attendance records for a distributed workforce of 300–500 people.
  • Process payroll payments according to established schedules and ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Reconcile payroll runs against source data and resolve discrepancies quickly.
  • Maintain organized payroll records and audit trails.
  • Follow up with employees and managers on missing documentation or policy exceptions.
  • Track overtime hours, PTO balances, accruals, and usage across teams and time zones.
  • Prepare OT and PTO summary reports for managers and HR.
  • Triage and resolve incoming finance tickets, including payment questions, expense disputes, and PTO balance queries, within defined SLAs.
  • Escalate complex or high-value issues to the Finance Operations Manager with clear context and recommended next steps.
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets for payroll tracking, expense summaries, headcount rosters, and OT/PTO registers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, finance operations, or an administrative role requiring strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience working with large spreadsheets of 500+ rows and using formulas to reconcile data.
  • Experience building reports or dashboards that make finance data easy to read and act on.
  • Instinct for automation or system integrations that reduce manual work.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining complex Excel or Google Sheets workbooks.
  • Strong proficiency with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch errors before they become problems.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities without dropping tasks.
  • Clear, professional written communication in English.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment and managing your workload day to day.
