Description

  • Perform quality control of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
  • Review clinical and regulatory documents and pharmacovigilance documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • Use CAT tools, especially XTM, to run QC checks.
  • Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and instruction adherence.
  • Support QC for non-editable or handwritten sources after conversion.
  • Self-assign work based on availability and meet urgent turnaround times.
  • Handle high-volume work across multiple small files and document discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and escalate risks promptly.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Language QA specialist in localization.
  • Mandatory experience with CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or similar.
  • Experience with QA tools such as Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA.
  • Experience using Track Changes in Word.
  • Advanced English level, minimum C1.
  • Availability of 4–5 hours per day.
  • Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Ability to meet urgent turnaround times of 12–24 hours and manage many small files.
  • Willingness to complete a QC test and follow staged onboarding.
  • Prior experience in a similar QC role at an LSP is a strong plus.
