Description

Perform translation and review work for Marketing/UI and Life Sciences content from English to French-France.
Complete copy editing tasks on assigned projects and accounts.
Provide linguistic lead support for assigned accounts or projects.
Manage and maintain language assets such as glossaries, style guides, and work instructions.
Conduct research to ensure the quality and accuracy of delivered content.
Use and learn translation and localization tools associated with the role.
Follow established processes and raise queries when needed.
Communicate with clients on linguistic matters as required.
Help develop and improve working processes for projects and accounts.
Train and support internal linguists and freelancers as needed.

Requirements

Native-level French proficiency.
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, across a wide range of registers.
3+ years of experience in translation/localization of Marketing/UI and Life Sciences content.
Experience in Finance translation is a plus.
University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong understanding of the localization process.
Experience with standard software such as Windows and Office applications.
Experience with CAT tools such as XTM and SDL Studio, and issue tracking/query management tools such as JIRA.
Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and linguists.
Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and within a remote team.
