Description

Review and refine Kazakh localized content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural or contextual accuracy.
Execute test cases and QA various products by following testing instructions and project requirements.
Identify, document, and report localization defects and bugs using internal and client-specific bug-tracking tools.
Verify that previously reported issues and fixes have been resolved correctly.
Evaluate translations in the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation.
Research and resolve linguistic questions as a subject matter expert for Kazakh language issues.
Explore user interfaces to identify localization or functional issues.
Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides, checklists, trademarks, and glossaries.
Troubleshoot basic problems and escalate testing issues when needed.
Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.

Requirements

Native-level fluency in Kazakh and cultural awareness of Kazakh and Kazakhstan.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently.
Experience or background in marketing, journalism, copy editing, proofreading, writing, translation, and/or localization is preferred.
Ability to work in a long-term, no-end-date role.
Familiarity with QA workflows, bug reporting, or testing tools is preferred.
Ability to research and resolve linguistic questions independently.
