Description

  • Translate and review content from English into Indonesian while preserving the original meaning and making it readable for the target audience.
  • Work on marketing and social media content for a global music streaming and entertainment client.
  • Use Smartling as the primary CAT tool for assigned work.
  • Take ownership of incoming work on the account and contribute to the success of the program.
  • Meet an expected weekly capacity of 2,000 to 5,000 words.
  • Follow client instructions such as character restrictions and other formatting constraints.
  • Communicate the rationale behind translation choices when needed.
  • Both translate and review content as part of the workflow.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
  • Proficiency in marketing and social media content.
  • Experience working with translation and terminology tools.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Native fluency in Indonesian.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions, including character restrictions.
  • Ability to explain translation rationale clearly.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment is a plus.
