Description

  • Translate written materials, including new releases, marketing materials, support knowledge base articles, and other customer-facing content.
  • Maintain high-quality localization output for gaming-related source material.
  • Adapt quickly to last-minute changes and reprioritize work as needed.
  • Manage both short-term and long-term localization projects effectively.
  • Communicate and collaborate within a team-driven localization environment.
  • Apply gaming context knowledge to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
  • Work across multiple client and team needs in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Castilian Spanish, written and verbal, with exceptional grammar skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent; emphasis in translation, localization, linguistics, or game design is a plus.
  • Relevant prior gaming experience for accurately translating content in a gaming context.
  • Experience in professional translation/localization work; games and technical translation experience preferred.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and workflow management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle quick turnaround times.
  • Experience with computer-assisted translation tools such as Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, or Wordfast.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint.
  • Passion for PC or console gaming is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software development, game design, game distribution platforms, game genres, gaming hardware, or game discussion groups is preferred.
