Description

  • Perform copy-editing, quality control, transcreation, and on-demand translation tasks for assigned accounts or projects.
  • Coordinate the work of internal and freelance translators to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
  • Manage and keep language assets such as glossaries, style guides, and work instructions current and accurate.
  • Handle project-related queries and resolve terminology and language questions among team members.
  • Test and qualify new freelancers and vendors as needed.
  • Train and develop internal linguists and freelance resources based on account and company needs.
  • Interact with clients on linguistic matters when required.
  • Participate in developing new and improved working processes.
  • Meet or exceed productivity KPIs and squad goals.

Requirements

  • University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience as a translator and/or reviewer, or equivalent work experience.
  • Native-level fluency in Hebrew.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience translating content for mobile apps, search engines, IT consumer products, entertainment, marketing, software UI, and websites.
  • Strong knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products, social media, entertainment, and at least one additional subject matter.
  • Thorough understanding of the localization process.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows, Office applications, CAT tools such as XTM and SDL Studio, and issue tracking/query tools such as JIRA.
  • Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to train and teach others and communicate positively with customers at various levels.
