Description

  • Translate and copy-edit content from English (en-US) to Hebrew (he-IL).
  • Handle a mix of marketing, product, support, informational, and light legal content.
  • Work on an ongoing freelance project with an expected weekly volume of about 500 to 1,000 words.
  • Use the client-specific CAT tool for translation work, with training provided.
  • Deliver high-quality translations that meet deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment.
  • Review and revise content based on feedback to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Communicate responsively and reliably with the project team throughout the assignment.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew (he-IL) with excellent command of English (en-US).
  • 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
  • Demonstrated experience translating English to Hebrew across informational, marketing, product, and support content.
  • Experience using CAT tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality translations under deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions.
  • Ability to work remotely as an independent freelance contractor.
  • Experience with light legal content is preferred.
  • Comfort working in a long-term, ongoing localization environment.
