Description

  • Perform translation, MTPE, and copy editing work according to client guidelines and deadlines.
  • Localize technical automotive and commercial vehicle content into native-level Spanish (Spain).
  • Review QA check reports and implement corrections using approved terminology and style guides.
  • Maintain terminology and translation memory updates in the client’s CAT tools, including Trados Studio 2019 or later.
  • Respond to linguistic queries with clear explanations and consistent decisions across projects.
  • Deliver high-quality work on time while maintaining active communication with the project team.
  • Post-edit machine-translated content to produce polished, natural-sounding results that align with the source.
  • Collaborate with team members to support linguistic quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Translation, Linguistics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • C2-level German proficiency and native-level Spanish (es-ES) fluency.
  • Deep expertise in automotive, electric vehicle, and technical content localization.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools.
  • Strong MTPE, terminology management, and QA validation skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in technical translation with strict adherence to style guides and terminology.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Familiarity with operational procedures, safety instructions, and legal/compliance content.
