Description

  • Source new debt and equity placement opportunities and expand relationships with borrowers, lenders, investors, sponsors, and intermediaries.
  • Run the full sales and execution cycle from first call through closing.
  • Structure capital stacks, underwrite deals, and prepare transaction materials and marketing collateral.
  • Negotiate term sheets and manage all parties through transaction close.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients using commercial real estate and capital markets expertise.
  • Communicate with clients and investors throughout the execution process and support closing activities.
  • Leverage technology, workflow automation, and data-driven tools to accelerate screening, packaging, and execution.
  • Maintain a repeatable book of institutional-grade business and support high transaction volume.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets on the debt side.
  • Proven track record closing institutional-level transactions, including individual deal sizes of $10M+ and annual closed volume of $30M+.
  • Fluency in capital stack structuring, term sheet negotiation, underwriting, and lender program criteria across bank, debt fund, CMBS, life company, and construction lending segments.
  • Ability to lead capital strategy end to end, including lender sourcing, structuring, packaging, negotiation, and closing.
  • Experience building a capital markets organization or book of business from scratch (preferred).
  • Experience with automated workflow platforms or data-driven deal screening tools (preferred).
  • Experience raising programmatic capital or creating lender products, not only deal-by-deal syndication (preferred).

Benefits

  • Commission-based compensation with no base salary.
  • Typical annualized earnings range of $158,000 to $270,000, with top performers earning more.
  • Remote role (#LI-Remote).
