Description

  • Coordinate the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for rehabilitation therapy delivery to WelbeHealth participants.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative guidance, analytical leadership, and program knowledge for therapy programs.
  • Oversee rehabilitation therapy staff performance and support business planning and budget development for the rehab department.
  • Ensure services meet professional and clinical competency standards as well as state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Guide and direct the work of others and provide treatment to participants when needed within the manager’s practice area.
  • Support participants and therapists in preparing for appointments.
  • Oversee treatment programs carried out for each participant as delegated by supervising therapists.
  • Manage contract oversight for speech therapy as needed.
  • Communicate staffing needs and operational changes to the Center Director and Clinical Services Director.
  • Conduct home visits to oversee therapy services, equipment setup, and in-home treatment when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • 5 years of demonstrated rehabilitation experience.
  • Knowledge and experience treating frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain it thereafter.
  • CPR and First Aid certification upon hire is preferred.
  • Experience working within PACE, ADHC, or other regulated rehabilitation environments is preferred.
  • Ability to comply with vaccination policy and provide proof of vaccination or a vaccine declination form prior to employment.
