Description

  • Design and scale the Engineering Services team structure as the organization grows.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain subject matter experts and technical team members.
  • Establish a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and consistent delivery.
  • Own complex technical scopes including SCADA, OT, performance engineering, and modeling.
  • Standardize engineering methodologies, deliverables, and quality across projects.
  • Implement intake, prioritization, and delivery processes for engineering work.
  • Define service-level agreements between Engineering Services and Portfolio teams.
  • Drive utilization, efficiency, and other operating metrics for the team.
  • Partner with Portfolio Management, Field Operations, and the Commercial team on client delivery and scope development.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop new service offerings and monetization opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in solar, power, or related infrastructure.
  • PE license preferred, or ability to become licensed.
  • Deep experience in at least one technical area: SCADA/controls, performance engineering, or power systems engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Experience scaling an engineering or services organization.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical work with business impact.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
  • Experience serving as a senior technical authority within an organization is preferred.
  • Experience with advanced tools and platforms is preferred.
