Description

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, define, and improve the most useful metrics to track.
  • Use data analysis and modeling to identify operational issues, predict risk, and recommend actions that improve KPIs and business outcomes.
  • Build relationships and trust with business partners and communicate insights to stakeholders, leaders, and executives.
  • Partner with the Data Warehousing team to design business-facing semantic layers, data marts, and foundational information structures for analytics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for business rules and logic that translate information into operational and clinical metrics and KPIs.
  • Support the design and development of a single source of truth repository for clinical and operational data.
  • Explain how business and clinical logic is applied to data and how operational activities connect to KPIs and OKRs.
  • Help build and maintain an enterprise KPI catalog and dictionary.
  • Actively participate in KPI and metrics governance.
  • Complete documentation accurately and on time, while following company policies, privacy, confidentiality, and quality improvement requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field, preferably in Analytics.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data and analytics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with exposure to provider and/or payer operations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with claims data and provider network data.
  • Preferred experience in health plan analytics, including eligibility, enrollment, provider network, contracting, claim processing, capitation, and call centers.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience and advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI or another data visualization tool.
  • Databricks and GitHub experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing varied healthcare datasets and domains such as enrollment, benefits, claims, clinical, risk, and healthcare financials.
  • Experience developing operational KPIs and monitoring metrics is a plus.
  • Ability to work with analysis design problems in healthcare data environments.
