Description

  • Create, prototype, and develop cross-platform mobile games using Solar2D and Lua scripting.
  • Develop core gameplay mechanics and game systems from initial concept through final release.
  • Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay across a wide range of mobile devices.
  • Integrate monetization features such as in-app purchases and advertising networks.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to improve and polish gameplay.
  • Produce clean, well-documented, maintainable code that follows game development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in mobile game development using Solar2D (Corona SDK) and Lua scripting.
  • In-depth knowledge of cross-platform game deployment for both iOS and Android.
  • Proven ability to prototype quickly and efficiently in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong expertise in optimizing mobile game performance and ensuring device compatibility.
  • Experience integrating monetization strategies, including ads and in-app purchases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
  • A portfolio featuring published mobile games developed with Solar2D/Corona SDK (preferred).
  • Knowledge of app store submission procedures and experience with analytics tools (preferred).
  • Prior experience collaborating within remote, multicultural teams (preferred).
