Description

  • Assist in managing multiregion and multicloud infrastructure to ensure resiliency, scalability, and performance.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning and deployments primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Design, deploy, and maintain agentic AI workflows and automation systems using LLMs, orchestration frameworks, APIs, and observability tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, including GKE and potentially other managed Kubernetes offerings.
  • Contribute to GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD.
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Monitor system health, participate in on-call rotation, and support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Document processes, create runbooks, and improve operational practices.
  • Work closely with senior DevOps engineers and developers to improve reliability across distributed systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role.
  • Strong foundation in Linux/Unix administration and basic networking.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, and VPC.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes concepts; Docker and Kubernetes are must-have skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and ArgoCD for GitOps workflows.
  • Interest in or exposure to multicloud and multiregion architectures.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Go; Python is listed as a must-have skill.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or GCP Cloud Monitoring/Logging.
  • Understanding of distributed systems design and global traffic management.
  • Awareness of security and compliance best practices in a cloud-native environment.
