Description

  • Own the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Brief, review, approve, and coordinate weekly content from UK-based creators and the India-based editor.
  • Write captions, select hashtags, and determine posting times based on student activity patterns.
  • Plan content around academic cycles and student culture moments such as intake seasons, exam periods, and major holidays.
  • Repurpose SEO blog content into social formats such as carousels, reels, and story sequences.
  • Own and maintain the DoMyWork brand voice and social media brand guidelines.
  • Monitor competitor accounts and identify positioning opportunities.
  • Manage the creator team, video editor, marketing intern, and coordination with the SEO lead.
  • Oversee community channels such as the DMW Insider WhatsApp group and social DMs/comments.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare weekly reports for the founder.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, social media marketing, or growth marketing.
  • Experience at a company targeting international students going to UK, Australia, or US universities is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing Instagram and/or TikTok accounts that grew under your leadership.
  • Experience managing content creators, freelancers, ambassador teams, or similar collaborators.
  • Strong written English that sounds natural, conversational, and non-corporate.
  • Understanding of short-form video performance, including hooks, pacing, trending audio, and retention.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and monthly goals instead of daily instructions.
  • Comfort working remotely with UK-overlap hours of at least 12 PM to 6 PM IST.
  • Personal experience studying at a UK university, preferably at postgraduate level, is a significant advantage.
  • Experience running student ambassador or campus rep programmes, YouTube content strategy, SEO, Snapchat, or EdTech/academic writing content is preferred.
