Description

  • Serve as the techno-functional subject matter expert for Oracle MFCS (RMS Cloud) across implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
  • Lead merchandising process support for item and merchandise hierarchy, supplier and costing, pricing and promotions, purchase orders, transfers, allocations, and inventory and stock ledger.
  • Conduct functional analysis and translate business requirements into solution designs.
  • Facilitate fit-gap analysis, configuration activities, and solution walkthroughs with client stakeholders.
  • Assist with data migration and validation for items, suppliers, prices, inventory, and stock ledger data.
  • Manage functional testing cycles, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validations.
  • Support integration testing with upstream and downstream systems such as Finance, Supply Chain, POS, and WMS.
  • Provide production support, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis in a SaaS environment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, debug retail batch programs, and resolve data, performance, and reconciliation issues.
  • Support MFCS extensions, configurations, and customizations, and work with REST APIs and Retail Integration Bus integrations where applicable.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on Oracle Retail.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle MFCS / RMS.
  • Deep retail domain knowledge in merchandising and inventory.
  • Techno-functional experience combining business process understanding with SQL/PLSQL skills.
  • Experience in Oracle Retail SaaS (MFCS Cloud) implementations or support engagements.
  • Strong practical knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Unix / Shell scripting, and Retail Data Stores customization.
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting batch jobs in Oracle Retail SaaS environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail modules such as ReIM, RPM, ReSA, Allocation, SIM, or AICS is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail upgrades, Agile or SAFe delivery, multi-shore teams, or global retail clients across the US, UK, EU, and APAC is preferred.
  • Oracle Retail or OCI certifications are preferred.
  • MBA or retail domain certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ADF/Java is advantageous.
