Description

  • Build and maintain n8n workflows and custom nodes that orchestrate APIs, webhooks, and LLM calls.
  • Design AI-assisted flows for classification, extraction, summarization, and decision support with clear guardrails.
  • Implement secrets management, RBAC, rate limiting, and prompt-injection defenses.
  • Add monitoring, alerting, and cost tracking for critical automations.
  • Set and maintain SLOs for critical automation workflows.
  • Write concise documentation and playbooks to support teammates.
  • Enable self-serve automation patterns for internal users.
  • Continuously improve reliability, latency, and cost through testing and iteration.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with n8n or similar tools such as Make, Zapier, or Airflow, plus REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language for custom logic and integrations.
  • Practical LLM experience, including function calling, prompting, and evaluation basics.
  • Solid understanding of authentication, including OAuth2 and JWT, as well as webhooks, queues, retries, and idempotency.
  • SQL fundamentals and basic familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Security-minded approach to data handling, secrets management, and dependency hygiene.
  • Experience with GCP or AWS is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps/CI is preferred.
  • Observability experience with logs, metrics, and traces is preferred.
  • Exposure to LangChain or RPA/BPM concepts is preferred.
