Description

  • Create and test reliable cloud infrastructure services that support Webflow’s products.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce triage load, improve reliability, and support growing customer scale.
  • Modernize and refactor existing services with attention to reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams on new solutions and ways of working.
  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
  • Improve on-call and incident response processes.
  • Increase engineering speed and safety through standardized processes, automation, and cloud best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical best practices.
  • Provide feedback to other teams on tooling and software designs.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment with little to no downtime.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling multi-region cloud environments on AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare tooling.
  • Experience with container-centric architectures such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, Mesos, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Experience with agentic development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience contributing to fullstack applications, services, and tools written in TypeScript, Node, or Go.
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring or coaching junior engineers.
  • Strong results and impact on shipped projects.
  • Proactive interest in AI and emerging technologies.
  • Preferred or additional experience in mentoring, sponsoring, and growing less-experienced engineers.
