Description

  • Drive design outcomes for Cash by bringing clarity to ambiguous work and leading design sprints for new initiatives.
  • Develop strategy for Cash experiences and identify new opportunities across teams and product surfaces.
  • Connect Cash with Wealthfront’s broader suite of wealth-building tools to create intuitive ecosystem integration.
  • Use rapid prototyping and broad design exploration to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead design-wide initiatives that improve team health, patterns, and processes.
  • Mentor other designers and help uplevel the design team.
  • Interface directly with executive leadership through biweekly reviews and strategic consultations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, research, data science, legal, and compliance to define opportunities and explore solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product design experience in a consumer software company.
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality work on elegant, visually engaging solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience using structured frameworks and principles to explain and defend design decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate and present ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and steer work with minimal oversight.
  • Experience designing across the full product process from strategy to detailed interactions.
  • Strong product thinking with a deep interest in business and customer needs.
  • Deep curiosity and interest in fintech.
  • Experience leading through ambiguity, evaluating trade-offs, and driving alignment is preferred.
