Description

  • Act as subject matter expert for SAP FICO, BRIM, RAR, Group Reporting, and planning/consolidation modules, and drive the systems roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Design, configure, test, and implement SAP solutions aligned with best practices, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects, including planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and partner coordination.
  • Ensure integrity of financial data across systems and partner with business intelligence teams on financial reporting.
  • Provide tier 3 operational support and troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Develop training materials for end users.
  • Support process improvement and continuous system enhancement across finance operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant with a primary focus on SAP FICO.
  • Proven experience in at least two full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
  • Deep functional expertise in SAP FICO, including GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA/PCA, profitability analysis, and product costing.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BRIM/subscription billing, including recurring revenue models, contract management, usage metering, charging, invoicing, and FI-CA.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP RAR and IFRS 15/ASC 606 compliance.
  • Experience with SAP Group Reporting (S/4HANA) or EC-CS for legal and management consolidation.
  • Proficiency with SAP Planning & Consolidation (BPC) or SAC Planning for budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to read and understand ABAP code is a strong plus.
  • Preferred: SAP certifications in FICO or S/4HANA Finance, or an advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s in Accounting.
  • Preferred: Experience with integrated end-to-end process flows across record-to-report, contract-to-cash, and source-to-pay.
  • Preferred: Experience in high-volume, complex revenue environments such as Telco, High-Tech, or Media.
  • Preferred: Experience re-engineering complex financial processes into standard SAP functionality with minimal customization.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and resolve conflicting requirements across finance and IT teams.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the latest SAP architecture and strategic direction.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $196,000 to $248,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program.
