Description

  • Develop data architecture and reference architectures for customers using Databricks.
  • Work closely with clients to understand business goals, technical needs, and adoption strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including workshops and proof-of-concept projects.
  • Lead complex projects integrating Databricks with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Help customers optimize performance for large-scale data processing, streaming, and machine learning workflows.
  • Guide customers and internal teams on best practices in data engineering, machine learning, and AI using Databricks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales teams to deliver successful implementations.
  • Help define market needs, create point-of-view content, and support Databricks go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide thought leadership and ensure solutions align with Databricks best practices and offerings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks is required.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with knowledge of cloud-native services.
  • Expertise in Python, Scala, and SQL for large-scale data processing.
  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, Dev/Ops, Security/Ops, and data lakes.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Strong experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Delta Lake.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Databricks certifications or cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security practices, and compliance in cloud environments is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to engage effectively with C-level leaders, especially CTOs and CDOs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
