Description

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers across Wave’s product lines, including Accounting, Invoicing, Payments, and Payroll.
  • Set strategy, priorities, and operating rhythms for the product marketing team.
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and standards for positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution.
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for product marketing initiatives.
  • Define success metrics for product marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver product-led growth campaigns focused on customer value, free-to-paid conversion, usage-based expansion, and monetization.
  • Champion experimentation and learning across go-to-market motions and customer journeys.
  • Own go-to-market strategy for major product launches, feature releases, and enhancements.
  • Partner with Product and Growth leadership to align launch plans with adoption and revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary product marketing partner to Product, Growth, and Customer Experience teams and equip them with messaging and enablement resources.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS.
  • Experience managing other Product Marketing Managers.
  • Experience operating in a product-led SaaS model.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, scale, and inspire a team.
  • Ability to influence effectively across functions without formal authority.
  • Ability to connect positioning and go-to-market strategy to product usage, growth, and revenue outcomes.
  • Empathy for small business owners and a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Based in or able to work from Toronto, Ontario, in a full-time remote role.
  • Experience supporting adoption-driven and lifecycle growth is preferred.
