Description

  • Build the regional expansion and cross-sell strategy for Astra in collaboration with CS and GTM leadership.
  • Become an Astra and Wati product expert, understanding capabilities, use cases, and integration paths.
  • Lead and execute the full cross-sell motion: identify opportunities, engage customers, pitch Astra, manage the sales cycle, and close deals.
  • Create repeatable, scalable strategies to accelerate Astra adoption across LATAM.
  • Collaborate closely with CSMs and PMM to map accounts, prioritize opportunities, and drive revenue impact.
  • Support and drive complex commercial negotiations within the existing Wati customer base.
  • Develop scalable upgrade strategies for 1:many portfolios to grow customers into higher plans as needs evolve.
  • Partner with CSMs to streamline handoffs between customer success and commercial conversations and convert expansion signals into structured upgrade motions.
  • Maintain accurate expansion forecasting and pipeline hygiene, ensure CRM documentation is up to date, track performance, and deliver reporting to leadership.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
  • 3+ years in SaaS in roles such as Account Manager, CSM, or AE with strong commercial responsibilities.
  • Experience with WhatsApp Business API or messaging-based use cases.
  • Proven experience closing renewals, upsells, or cross-sell deals.
  • Strong familiarity with AI products, automation, or conversational platforms; experience selling AI solutions or digital agents is preferred.
  • Ability to craft strategy and execute hands-on (builder mindset).
  • Skilled in value-based selling and navigating complex customer conversations.
  • Understanding of LATAM enterprise customer expectations and cultural dynamics.
  • Experience maintaining forecast accuracy and CRM data quality.
