Description

  • Reimagine and implement technology for the music industry.
  • Own product features across the full development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Build maintainable, reliable solutions that scale with business growth.
  • Source, extract, and integrate data from streaming services, social media, and other web sources.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, and data warehouses.
  • Debug systems and support testing, monitoring, and incident management.
  • Collaborate with engineering teammates and leaders to deliver product improvements and grow professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of backend or full-stack development experience.
  • Ability to creatively and reliably source, extract, and integrate disparate web data.
  • Strong debugging skills and knowledge of testing, monitoring, and incident management.
  • Knowledge of AWS or another large-scale cloud computing environment.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
  • High ownership and ability to deliver impact in a fast-paced, evolving, ambiguous environment.
  • Willingness to continually learn and develop software engineering expertise.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, TimescaleDB, Snowflake, TypeScript, React, React Native, or AWS is preferred but not required.
