Description

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Architect and maintain infrastructure as code using Pulumi and Python for repeatable deployments.
  • Manage and scale containerized applications on AWS ECS and EKS (Kubernetes).
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
  • Administer and scale messaging queues and event-streaming platforms including RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and AWS SQS.
  • Manage and optimize enterprise search clusters using Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
  • Support and migrate enterprise Java workloads from JBOSS and similar application servers into modern cloud environments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or New Relic.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including container scanning, dependency alerts, and automated secrets management.
  • Drive improvements that reduce alert noise, improve runbooks, and decrease mean time to resolution.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability (SRE), or Cloud Engineer.
  • Deep expertise in AWS, with production-level experience in at least one additional cloud provider such as GCP or Azure.
  • Exposure to all three cloud providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure, is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Pulumi using Python for infrastructure automation.
  • Production-level experience managing and orchestrating workloads with AWS ECS and EKS.
  • Advanced knowledge of GitHub Actions for workflow automation and deployment pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience scaling and troubleshooting AWS SQS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience configuring and tuning Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch.
  • Experience migrating legacy application server workloads such as JBOSS, WebLogic, or similar into containerized environments.
  • Strong experience creating dashboards and alerts in New Relic; experience with Grafana and Prometheus is a plus.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including container scanning, dependency alerts, and automated secrets management.
  • Proven track record of cloud cost optimization (FinOps) across multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset toward automation and eliminating technical debt.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development and QA teams.
