Description

  • Own the test automation strategy and governance across unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, performance, security, and resiliency testing.
  • Design and build a reusable automation framework for use across multiple teams.
  • Establish quality gates, release criteria, and traceability from requirements to tests, results, and evidence.
  • Validate event-driven architecture behaviors including contracts, schema evolution, ordering, idempotency, replay, and dead-letter handling.
  • Automate data quality checks and reconciliation for market, reference, order, trade, and downstream data stores.
  • Embed automated test suites into Azure DevOps pipelines with mandatory build, deploy, smoke, regression, performance, security, and compliance gates.
  • Orchestrate tests in Azure AKS using Docker, Kubernetes, and ephemeral environments.
  • Validate observability signals such as OpenTelemetry traces and Application Insights or Dynatrace metrics within test assertions.
  • Baseline and test latency, throughput, spike, soak, and failover behavior, and support capacity tuning.
  • Lead QA activities, mentor engineers on testability and quality by design, and contribute to incident response, RCA, and reliability playbooks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in QA or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial or trading systems, including order lifecycle, market data, and risk controls.
  • Proven delivery of pipeline-integrated .NET automation frameworks.
  • Experience supporting regulated-market audits and producing audit-ready evidence.
  • Deep understanding of event-driven architecture QA, including contracts, ordering, idempotency, replay, dead-letter queues, and back-pressure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AKS, Azure DevOps, and automation at scale.
  • Strong experience with data quality and reconciliation testing.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives and coach engineers.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Preferred: ISTQB Advanced or CSTE certification.
  • Preferred: Azure Fundamentals or Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Preferred: Finance certifications such as CFA or FRM.
  • Preferred: Agile or Scrum experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country of residence without employer sponsorship.
  • Must be available to work onsite in Abu Dhabi or remotely within 3 hours of the Abu Dhabi time zone.
  • Contract engagement of 6-12 months initially, with potential for long-term extension.
