Description

  • Execute complex wire bonding operations using manual, semi-automatic, and automated bonders.
  • Perform microelectronic assembly tasks, including adhesive, glue, and epoxy application and component integration.
  • Read and interpret build sheets, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and engineering drawings.
  • Set up, calibrate, and make minor adjustments to wire bonding equipment to optimize bond quality and throughput.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using measurement and test equipment such as reticles, indicators, microscopes, and bond pullers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve technical problems and improve processes.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and work rate in a cleanroom environment.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols, safety guidelines, and ESD procedures throughout production.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in wire bonding or microelectronic manufacturing, or equivalent practical skills from a technical bootcamp or certification program.
  • Proficiency with manual gold ball, wedge, ribbon, semi-automatic, and automated wire bonding techniques.
  • Experience with precise microelectronic assembly and adhesive/epoxy application.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and the ability to work accurately under a microscope for an entire shift.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed technical documentation, including build sheets, ICDs, and engineering drawings.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and ESD-compliant work environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Second-shift availability, approximately 3–4 PM start time to 11 PM–midnight end time.
