Description

  • Operate and maintain manual, semi-automatic, and automated wire bonding equipment to perform precise bonding operations on a range of substrates and components.
  • Perform microelectronic assembly tasks, including mixing and applying adhesives, glues, and epoxies, and integrating small electronic components.
  • Read and interpret build sheets, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and engineering drawings to follow detailed specifications.
  • Set up, calibrate, and make minor adjustments to wire bonding machinery to optimize bond quality and throughput.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using measurement and inspection tools to verify bond quality and compliance with standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve technical problems and improve processes.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, work rate, cleanroom compliance, safety, and ESD procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in wire bonding or microelectronic manufacturing, or equivalent practical training from a technical bootcamp or certification program.
  • Proficiency in manual gold ball, wedge, ribbon, semi-automatic, and automated wire bonding techniques.
  • Experience with intricate microelectronic assembly and precise adhesive and epoxy application.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and the ability to work accurately under a microscope for an entire shift.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow build sheets, ICDs, and engineering drawings.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and ESD-compliant work environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
