Description

Estimate and sell service agreements for fire sprinklers, backflow assembly testing, fire alarm systems, and related integrated system maintenance agreements.
Account for installation, estimating, parts and materials, design time, labor hours, and service costs when preparing proposals.
Plan, direct, and coordinate sales-related activities for assigned service agreements.
Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites in accordance with VSC policies.
Support documentation and proposal preparation related to sales and estimating.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in contract sales related to fire sprinklers or integrated systems.
Demonstrated sales experience with strong prospecting skills and a proven history of successful sales and contract negotiation.
In-depth knowledge of installation and maintenance for fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, security, surveillance, and access systems.
Knowledge of applicable state and local codes, Fire Marshals, NFPA 72, ADA, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction in the company’s work geography.
Strong record-keeping skills for completing sales and estimating forms and documentation.
Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Ability to pass various background checks.
Reliable transportation and a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for use of a company vehicle.
NICET Level I certification preferred.
