Description

  • Partner with the design lead, product managers, and engineers to design and improve prop and content creation workflows.
  • Design upload, management, publishing, and related monetization experiences for creators.
  • Create intuitive interfaces for users with varying technical skill levels, from hobbyists to professional developers.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear UX using thoughtful flows, visual hierarchy, and user-friendly microcopy.
  • Collaborate with community and support teams to gather creator pain points and reduce friction in the product.
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups across Desktop, VR, Mobile, and Web.
  • Run lightweight usability testing such as concept checks and prototype tests to validate ideas early.
  • Iterate on designs quickly based on feedback, testing, and cross-functional input.
  • Help define new content types for props and support the broader evolution of creator tools over time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional product design experience.
  • Experience shipping products, ideally tools, platforms, or workflow-heavy experiences.
  • Strong UX instincts with the ability to simplify complexity without sacrificing clarity or capability.
  • Comfort working in Figma and collaborating with engineering to bring designs to life.
  • Ability to think in flows and systems across broader user lifecycles and product ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Unity, SDKs, Blender, or other developer tools.
  • Proactive collaboration skills, including the ability to listen well and give clear feedback.
  • Interest in empowering users and building tools that support creativity, expression, and economic opportunity.
  • Understanding of trust, safety, or moderation systems that support healthy online interactions (bonus).
  • Familiarity with social VR, presence-based UX, or avatar-based expression (bonus).
  • Experience with cross-platform design across desktop, mobile, and VR headsets (bonus).
  • Interest in online communities, emergent social behavior, or digital sociology (bonus).
