Description

  • Develop and execute near- and long-term business development strategies and campaigns aligned with the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan.
  • Track emerging markets, trends, competition, pricing, and demand, and propose new offerings or strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with technology development, product development, finance, marketing, and other stakeholders to support sustainable long-term growth.
  • Engage customers and vendors to shape pre-solicitation efforts and respond to RFIs, RFPs, and other requests.
  • Execute the pursue, bid, and proposal process and maintain accurate pipeline reporting.
  • Brief executive leadership on business development activities and opportunities.
  • Market and sell electronic components to support Voyager’s position in emerging satellite constellations.
  • Build relationships with customers across the U.S. Federal Government, allied nations, industrial base vendors, and space economy developers.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial growth culture across teams and work functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or management fields; master’s degree in business administration or engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product sales, business development, or growth roles within a technology, defense, or aerospace company.
  • Experience with communications, guidance, navigation and control, and/or compute space electronics products preferred.
  • Experience executing business development activities, including briefing executive leadership.
  • Ability to translate complex technical, programmatic, or business topics into clear executive-level messaging and briefings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work products with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools for opportunity research, proposal development, customer correspondence, gate review preparation, and cross-functional pipeline management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with customers, partners, vendors, and the press.
  • Must possess or be able to secure a Secret Department of War Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person eligible under ITAR/EAR export regulations and able to obtain required export authorizations.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
