Description

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering and Product roles from intake through offer.
  • Build and execute outbound sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers and engineering and product leadership to define job specifications and hiring criteria.
  • Maintain a fast, decisive interview process and sustain candidate momentum.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that expand candidate diversity, including specialized talent-network partnerships.
  • Assess candidates’ technical and product thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advise leadership on when domain experience is necessary versus when transferable skills are sufficient.
  • Act as a strategic partner on hiring strategy rather than simply executing open requisitions.

Requirements

  • Proven full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in an agency, search firm, or high-growth environment.
  • Strong outbound sourcing skills and experience building pipelines without relying on inbound applicants.
  • Direct experience sourcing through technical channels such as GitHub, Stack Overflow, or developer communities preferred.
  • Assertive communication skills, including the ability to challenge unclear specifications and push back on hiring managers.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, developing talent-function environment.
  • Experience recruiting for both Engineering and Product roles preferred; strong generalist technical recruiters are considered.
  • Ability to evaluate technical fit and hiring potential without requiring energy, cleantech, or utilities experience.
  • Authorization to work from a home location in the United States or Canada; Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers.
  • Ability to work primarily from the employee’s home country, with international work travel subject to approval.
