Description

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to support team projects.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and services.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared team knowledge.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Help build core APIs, data pipelines, and customer-facing interfaces.
  • Support software that contributes to decarbonizing the grid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of full-time software engineering experience, excluding internships or co-op programs.
  • Foundational programming skills in a backend language such as Python or Go.
  • Experience with Python-based development preferred; the stack includes FastAPI, Postgres, Delta Lake, Dagster, and ClickHouse.
  • Familiarity with Docker, the HashiCorp stack, and AWS is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow as a software engineer.
  • Genuine passion for creating a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
  • Authorization to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.
  • GitHub account link required in the application.

  • Base salary of $120,000-$140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
