Description

  • Analyze datasets and translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Handle data batches and apply labeling and manipulation techniques according to project requirements.
  • Oversee the quality of training data and identify issues or anomalies.
  • Implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
  • Provide translations and contextual understanding to account for language and cultural nuances.
  • Offer recommendations to improve business processes and outcomes based on data analysis.
  • Transcribe and annotate audio or video files according to project guidelines when assigned.
  • Work on tasks that are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis as they become available.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write in Dutch and English.
  • Must be comfortable with freelance, task-based work and irregular or intermittent hours.
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device such as a laptop or desktop.
  • Must be available during IST, preferably starting from 8am IST onward.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, including reading, writing, and/or speaking.
  • Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data labeling, data manipulation, or quality assurance.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Excellent listening, comprehension, and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in typing and writing.
  • Certification as a Linguist is a plus.
  • Experience with transcription is helpful and should be noted in the application if applicable.

Benefits

  • Remote freelance position with flexible, on-demand task availability.
  • 0 to 20 hours per week, suitable for supplemental income.
  • Hourly compensation of USD $4.00 to $7.00 per hour.
  • Global contractor onboarding through Deel.com.
  • 1099 independent contractor arrangement, with a W-8 BEN form provided for most non-U.S. candidates.
