Description

  • Participate in discovery calls with sales representatives to gather client business and technical requirements.
  • Document client pain points, project goals, location counts, and other technical and business details accurately.
  • Match client needs to Vivant's standard network packages and design the appropriate solution.
  • Determine network components such as firewalls, switches, wireless access points, sizing, and hardware quantities.
  • Coordinate cost analysis by submitting requirements to project coordinators and reviewing results for accuracy.
  • Evaluate ISP options and recommend the best fit based on requirements, budget, availability, and reliability.
  • Prepare two to three solution options and ensure proposals are accurate, organized, and client-ready.
  • Collaborate with the sales representative before proposal presentations and support them through the sales cycle.
  • Attend proposal review meetings and answer technical questions about network design and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, wireless networking, WAP placement and sizing, IP addressing, and basic network design.
  • Prior sales experience with the ability to move opportunities through the sales process.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable following structured and repeatable processes.
  • Experience selling connectivity services, telecommunications, MSP solutions, networking solutions, or related technical products or services is preferred.
  • Experience supporting B2B sales is preferred.
