Description

  • Define and approve technical approaches that meet project requirements and support long-term scalability.
  • Participate in implementing complex or critical AI features and technical optimizations as needed.
  • Set and enforce coding standards and AI best practices to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Keep technical documentation up to date for onboarding and ongoing system support.
  • Optimize onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing mentorship for middle developers.
  • Improve development workflows and balance workload to prevent burnout while maintaining high productivity.
  • Build a culture of shared ownership and strengthen team self-organization.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues early by proposing proactive solutions.
  • Maintain transparent cross-team communication with other departments to align goals and resolve conflicts.
  • Participate in recruiting, performance evaluation, and career planning for team members.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience designing agent workflows, including planning, tool use, memory, and self-correction mechanisms.
  • Production-level experience with LangGraph and LangChain libraries.
  • Practical experience implementing RAG solutions and evaluating/testing nondeterministic AI systems.
  • Strong command of TypeScript and Node.js, with a deep understanding of software design patterns and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with vector databases, preferably OpenSearch, and the AWS ecosystem, including Bedrock, Lambda, S3, and ECS.
  • Understanding of and practical experience with agentic AI architectures.
  • Experience mentoring, providing technical leadership, and managing a team.
  • Ability to translate abstract product goals into a technical roadmap in collaboration with a Product Manager.
  • High emotional intelligence and stress resilience, with the ability to keep the team focused and effective during difficult or critical periods.
  • Technical expertise and the ability to justify engineering decisions in discussions with a CTO and Solution Architects.
  • Experience identifying technical risks and bottlenecks before they affect delivery timelines.
