Description

  • Issue and track purchase orders in the inventory management system.
  • Manage receipts and maintain accurate log entries as inventory moves through the system.
  • Reconcile open purchase orders over time, including partial receipts, substitutions, and changes across weeks or months.
  • Handle data loads from multiple sources and allocate costs appropriately.
  • Respond to third-party inquiries about inventory status, including sold, scrapped, leased, and consigned items.
  • Maintain exception logs and flag discrepancies.
  • Support recosting activities and work with the purchasing team to keep records current.
  • Process additions, removals, and status changes in the inventory system.
  • Support scrap and change order processing.

Requirements

  • Comfort working across multiple systems and data sources simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with structured data entry workflows and inventory or purchasing systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel for reconciliations and data management.
  • Good communication skills and professionalism when reporting to third parties.
  • Prior experience in purchasing coordination, inventory management, or equipment operations is a plus.
  • ERP or inventory system exposure is a plus.
  • Accounting or finance background, including AP/AR experience, is valued for future scope expansion.
  • CPA or bookkeeping background is a plus.
  • Experience with reconciliation of two-report comparisons is a plus.
