Description

  • Serve as the senior technical point of contact for client and vendor data exchange negotiations, including SFTP and file transfer specifications.
  • Define expectations for inbound and outbound file exchanges, including formats, schedules, error handling, and escalation paths.
  • Lead onboarding of new client data feeds from kickoff through steady-state handoff.
  • Own the quality of data received from clients and ensure inbound files are complete, accurate, timely, and spec-compliant.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and acceptance criteria for inbound feeds, rejecting or escalating non-conforming data.
  • Detect data quality degradation trends early and drive resolution with client technical teams.
  • Partner with engineering and analytics to understand how upstream data quality impacts member outcomes, billing accuracy, and client reporting.
  • Maintain documentation for active integrations, specifications, data dictionaries, and known quality issues.
  • Monitor ongoing inbound and outbound file workflows, triage issues, and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual work, standardize integrations, and support platform enhancements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data operations, data integration, or technical client success, ideally in a healthcare SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SFTP or managed file transfer (MFT), including setup, troubleshooting, and specification documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare data formats such as EDI 834/837, HL7, FHIR, and delimited flat files.
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership mindset focused on data quality and preventing bad data from flowing downstream.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Comfort working across product, engineering, and client-facing teams at the same time.
  • Preferred experience working in or alongside a digital health or health benefits platform.
  • Preferred familiarity with data configuration or admin tooling such as Client Command Center.
  • Preferred exposure to dbt, SQL, or BI tools such as Looker for investigating data quality issues.
  • Preferred experience driving vendor or client data standardization across a portfolio.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work from a state where Vida is registered.
