Description

  • Architect and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and performance across distributed systems.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis, drive post-incident improvements, and help prevent recurrence.
  • Build and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and healing systems to improve system health and reduce downtime.
  • Tune performance and plan capacity to handle traffic spikes and growing workloads efficiently.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and DevOps to improve reliability and delivery pipelines.
  • Champion continuous improvement in deployment, scaling, and performance testing, and promote SRE best practices.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to strategic infrastructure decisions.
  • Offer proactive feedback and help shape a world-class product and operating culture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Infrastructure or SRE roles managing production systems in complex, large-scale environments.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, Linux systems, microservices, CI/CD, GitOps, authentication and authorization, APIs, API gateways, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Kafka (MSK), Java, Spring Framework, Python, and AWS services.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, New Relic, or similar.
  • Programming and scripting experience in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages used to automate infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and load balancing in cloud-native environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor team members.
  • Experience with incident management and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with databases is a strong plus.
