Description

  • Develop and maintain systems and processes to track product performance.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Client Operations, and Sales to set targets and prioritize action plans.
  • Own and evolve the product operating system, including roadmaps, planning artifacts, and execution tracking.
  • Design and run lightweight operating cadences such as planning cycles, product reviews, and execution check-ins.
  • Improve visibility into priorities, progress, and decisions across the product organization without adding unnecessary process.
  • Define and own the PM tool stack, including the tools and workflows PMs use every day.
  • Identify opportunities to use automation, AI, agents, and new workflows to improve how product ideas are surfaced and adopted.
  • Build systems that capture and share high-quality product work and decisions across teams.
  • Own and improve core product development processes, tooling, and team rituals.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and facilitate roadmap planning across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Design and run Early Access Programs and alpha testing programs to validate product-market fit before broad release.
  • Own launch coordination end-to-end, including rollout planning, success metrics, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Maintain cross-team roadmap visibility for clients, delivery teams, and leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management within a Product organization, or a similar role.
  • Experience in fast-moving, product-led organizations with an emphasis on minimum necessary process.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to design operating models that scale without adding bureaucracy.
  • Proven ability to execute scrappily, take ownership, and get things done.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building from a blank page.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong product instincts and empathy for Product Managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Prior payments experience and curiosity to develop a deep understanding of VGS’s products.
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets and other tools to organize and figure things out.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively, share perspectives respectfully, and commit once decisions are made.
