Description

  • Own the end-to-end payments product and customer experience, from workflows through processing, settlement, and partner integrations.
  • Define and evolve the payments product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
  • Lead the full product development lifecycle from discovery and ideation through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Translate customer problems into clear requirements, epics, and user stories in partnership with engineering and design.
  • Prioritize the backlog based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for payments gateways, processors, payment facilitators, settlement, and funding flows.
  • Manage integrations and relationships with major processors and partners such as Adyen, Fiserv, and Global Payments.
  • Conduct customer research, market analysis, and experimentation to validate solutions and identify opportunities.
  • Define KPIs and use product, customer, and operational data to measure success and guide decisions.
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, sales, marketing, professional services, and customer success to drive launches and adoption.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including complex, user-facing digital products.
  • Proven experience building, launching, and scaling payments or fintech products.
  • Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, including gateways, processors, payment facilitators, and settlement flows.
  • Experience communicating product strategy and results to senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into product direction and execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and product analytics platforms like Heap, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Comfort working with APIs, data, and complex systems at scale.
  • Experience with ISO standards and payment facilitator operations is preferred.
  • Technical understanding of payment frameworks and data models is preferred.
  • Experience in highly regulated or global payments environments is preferred.
  • Builder mentality: entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable defining new initiatives in ambiguous spaces.
