Description

  • Architect and optimize the existing Snowflake data platform, including environmental isolation and scalable data structures.
  • Automate workflows, build semantic models, and deploy agents using tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Cursor, and UiPath.
  • Implement and manage data quality and observability frameworks to improve pipeline reliability and issue detection.
  • Design, maintain, and monitor MLOps pipelines for deploying and lifecycle-managing machine learning models in Snowflake.
  • Share ownership of pipeline management, architecture, and MLOps with the broader data engineering pod.
  • Synthesize operational data entities into a unified enterprise semantic model for analytics and future monetization.
  • Build and maintain resilient, low-touch data pipelines using modern integration and orchestration tools.
  • Translate complex data analysis into strategic recommendations that support business decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience with deep expertise in Snowflake advanced features, including RBAC, materialized views, dynamic tables, Snowpipe, and stored procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience applying software engineering best practices to ELT processes.
  • Hands-on experience implementing data observability and monitoring platforms such as DataDog.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Snowflake Cortex, with familiarity in MLOps principles.
  • Experience building and maintaining resilient data pipelines using tools such as Fivetran, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
  • Advanced SQL skills, proficiency with Python or R, and experience with BI tools.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and execute high-impact initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify key drivers and influence decision-making.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative, cross-functional working style.
  • Preferred: Deep domain expertise in merchant payment ecosystems such as Adyen and experience with enterprise data governance and security standards.
  • Preferred: Experience architecting data products for commercialization, external endpoints, or embedded analytics in a SaaS platform.
