Description

  • Oversee the full order-to-cash process, including billing and collections, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Own and optimize ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition processes and workflows, including analysis of complex contracts and contract modifications.
  • Partner with Data Analytics to align billing and revenue data with forecasts, ARR/MRR metrics, and cash flow projections.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for billing accuracy, DSO, and cash conversion efficiency.
  • Build and maintain systems and processes that support SaaS business models, including subscriptions, renewals, and usage-based pricing.
  • Ensure high-quality data flow between Salesforce, billing platforms, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Lead system integrations, automation initiatives, and process improvements to increase scalability, data integrity, and transparency.
  • Evaluate and implement financial technology tools to improve financial reporting and operations.
  • Design and document internal controls and workflows across financial operations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, RevOps, and Finance.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in revenue and accounting operations, including leadership roles in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription billing, ARR/MRR, usage billing, and deferred revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and billing systems such as NetSuite SuiteBilling, Payfac, and ISO.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience working with large data sets and turning operational data into actionable insights.
  • Proven success leading and scaling teams and systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations.
  • CPA or equivalent financial management qualification preferred.
  • Experience in venture-backed or PE-backed growth environments preferred.
  • Prior involvement in system implementations or IPO readiness projects preferred.
  • Experience in the payment processing industry preferred.
