Description

  • Implement observability frameworks to track model performance, data drift, and training statistics.
  • Develop systems that monitor and optimize compute costs and training performance.
  • Build internal experimentation tools that help data scientists and ML engineers iterate and deploy faster.
  • Write maintainable Python code to automate core machine learning lifecycle services.
  • Implement architectural designs in collaboration with a Staff Engineer.
  • Work with SRE and DevXP teams to ensure solutions are production-ready and easy to manage.
  • Support scalable, reliable ML platform capabilities for data management, model training, evaluation, and deployment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software or ML engineering building tools that support the ML lifecycle (MLOps).
  • Strong Python skills, including experience building internal APIs or automation services.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source ML tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Ray, or Prometheus/Grafana for ML monitoring.
  • A product mindset for internal tools and strong focus on developer experience.
  • Experience with SQL and data engineering tools such as Snowflake, Spark, or dbt.
  • A skeptical, first-principles approach to engineering.
  • Experience working with data science, ML engineering, or platform teams (preferred).
