Description

  • Develop and maintain detailed process maps for revenue cycle workflows, including patient access, coding, billing, claims, and collections.
  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, then recommend process or system solutions.
  • Define, document, and manage product and service requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, feature descriptions, traceability, and UAT.
  • Design and deliver scalable system-based solutions with clear problem statements, process maps, business requirements, success metrics, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the functional and system capabilities within the assigned product portfolio.
  • Support user acceptance testing and change management activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams.
  • Communicate project updates, issues, and risks to senior leadership.
  • Support audits, data integrity reviews, and documentation readiness.
  • Evaluate and help implement revenue cycle technologies such as OCR, AI, integrations, and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, life sciences, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations, healthcare analytics, business analysis, or a similar diagnostics role.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, claims, and reimbursement.
  • Experience with EHR and practice management systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth, plus familiarity with clearinghouses and payer workflows.
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart or Visio and with data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience working with technical teams to implement business processes in Salesforce Medical Billing Systems, XiFin, Quadax, Prior Authorization, and EMR environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and systems thinking skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $125,000 to $140,000 USD.
