Description

  • Develop detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation for research, development, infrastructure, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Lead project teams across multiple sites and drive stakeholder communication to achieve project goals.
  • Work closely with business leaders and PMO leadership to prioritize business-critical work and align roadmaps with goals, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress against budget, schedule, resource allocation, issues, risks, and scope changes.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and properly stored.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of project management frameworks and tools.
  • Foster continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team and broader organization.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt plans as project or portfolio needs change.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across IT, product development, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a life-science environment, ideally in diagnostics, genomics, product development, or a similar field.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet is ideal.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead people and drive results through cross-functional engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to present confidently to audiences at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in IT, product development, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial functions.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Technical background and understanding of product and software development processes and emerging technologies preferred, including NGS technology, CRM, LIMS, and AWS.

  • Base salary range of $105,000 to $120,000 USD.
